Ganci’s Psychoholic Radio Extravaganza is a weekly radio show that combines all kinds of genres and silliness where anything goes. You’ll find everything from Frank Sinatra to Slayer to Michael McDonald and a healthy dosage funny. Part comedy and part music history Ganci’s Psychoholic Radio Extravaganza is what happens when you give a man with untreated ADHD a bunch of coffee, maybe a glass of bourbon or 3, and an uncensored eclectic music collection. Tune in, turn it up, and have a great time!
Hell of a long title this week for sure. Someone postulated that Jimi was the greatest artist of all time and while I love me some Jimi I also think that it is an unfair statement to categorize him by himself. I decided to dig a little deeper into my own feelings on the subject and put together a show of bands/artists that had a profound impact either culturally or on music. There is all kinds of stuff this week ranging from Bill Haley to Queen to Pantera to Michael Jackson to Clapton and more. You’ll definitely want to tune in this Thursday at 8 to Garage71.net to hear my take on who was the most influential.
This week on Ganci’s Psychoholic Radio Extravaganza we play ‘Ganci’s Music To Work On Cars To’. Basically stuff that you’d hear on 96 Rock back in the day when wrenching and cussing while trying to find that missing 10mm or 9/16 wrench. We play Willie, ZZ Top, Allman Brothers, Hank3, all kinds of great tunes.
One bit of feedback we get often on the show is that people tend to love our silly commercials for products that shouldn’t (and generally don’t) exist. So as a peek into the process of how they get made we threw together a quick video of the making of our latest dumb commercial for Bertie Botts Variable Flavor Vape Juice with the included outtakes. Give it a watch and let us know what you think!
Coming up on Ganci’s Psychoholic Radio Extravaganza we are going to do Ganci’s Dance Party! A bunch of songs you can dance to basically.
