Andrea Colburn and Mud Moseley sound like a panther screaming in the middle of the night, like a band of gypsies at a tea party, like a carefully curated hullabaloo held in a Wild West funeral home. Like Doc Watson and the Cramps had a heinous love child.
Just as much influenced by Willie Nelson, Tom Waits, and Hank Williams Sr. as new Country acts such as Colter Wall and the Deslondes, Colburn & Moseley keep somewhat of a traditional country and blues feel all while giving it their own haunting,
part Piedmont, part psychobilly spin.
The duo plan on bringing their own brand of bad to a town near you this year. Part Flat Duo Jet, part Bonnie and Clyde, this is not a performance that you will want to miss. Just maybe don’t stand in the front row.

Jason Lee Wilson, born out of the red clay in Bradley County, Tennessee he was carried across White Oak mountain to a land where generations of his people are buried. His first musical memories begin at age 4 in Knoxville with a 33 rpm record of cowboy songs and echoes of WIVK playing then new music from John Anderson and Dwight Yoakam. He would leave the shadow of the Smoky Mountains and find his upbringin’ and surrogate home on the Cumberland Plateau. There he began the continuing journey that has carried a mere country boy to more than 15 countries to share the music and the gospel that has been given him.
Jason authors a unique mixture of rockabilly, traditional country and gospel that’s as fresh as a clear mountain mornin’ receiving reviews such as, “this is timeless country music that you wouldn’t believe was cut in the 21st Century” and “Jason Lee Wilson’s music is everything country music should be,”

BACK SOUTH is a trio from Asheville North Carolina. The bands sound is derived from the use of different homemade instruments with a focus on the cigar box guitar fashioned in the style of North Mississippi Diddley Bow. Back South bridges many southern music styles ranging from Bluegrass and Old Time with hints of Spiritual Gospel on the beat of Rock and Blues. The music is easy to move to, fun and up beat along with the attitude of the band being warm and light-hearted which creates a very welcoming atmosphere.

The members of Back South are Todd Cecil: cigar box guitar/bass and songwriter – a Nashville music-scene transplant, Mike Fore: Harmonica – an uprooted Louisiana via Columbia SC transplant and Scott Harte: Drums, Washboard and Spoons – an Up-North Down-South transplant. Together the three make a monstrous sound and an entertaining mixture of music styles on the backbone of a driven Blues Rock beat. A performance and show not to be missed.
