Once again, Jason Galaz and the crew of Muddy Roots/Nashville Boogie Vintage Weekender, we can all say thank you for one amazing weekend packed full of music, traditional Nashville history and Americana roots. This was a great event and we already have next year’s dates of May 18th – 21st, 2017 in our calendar!
For the last night of the Nashville Boogie Weekender, the intimate concert with Chris Isaak with opening act Woody Pines was genius. One of the best shows of the year so far with historical talent of over 30 years playing together, Chris Isaak instantly became your friend during his show. From the personal interactions to the raw selfless talent of both Chris and his entire band, the audience was in a trace and connected not only to Chris but to each other during the show.
The Grand Ole Opry House even took notice to all the traditional dress and attire during the event saying this was the best dressed crowd they have ever seen come to watch any concert.
Chris Isaak is recognized and respected with both the booming general audience, but as well as the hardcore historian music lover of traditional rock n roll. Even with Chris’s most recognized song, Wicked Game, his passion for the roots has always influenced his style of music and presence on stage.
We look forward to hearing what’s to come to the next Nashville Boogie Vintage Weekender. You can keep up with all the news and releases at: the Nashville Boogie
Coming up next from Jason Galaz and crew is the Muddy Roots Music Festival in Cookeville, TN. A Labor Day Weekend tradition, the Muddy Roots Music Festival is a weekend of the most eclectic mix of roots rock you can ever find in the hills of Tennessee. This event is a traditional moonshiner’s paradise with music from dawn til dusk… Camping, Hot Showers, three stages, car show hosted by Voodoo Kings C.C., vendor village and more, this is an event we have enjoyed for years!
